The wooden Mallet uses only solid oak, not veneer or wood grain vinyl coverings. The racks are finished in light oak or dark red mahogany with a durable state-of-the-art finish. The sturdy 1x2 wood hat rack bars are mortised into the sides and locked in place with screws. there is a heavy one inch or a 5/8 inch diameter steel hanger bar. Wood plugs are included to cover wall mounting screws. Racks are shipped knocked down and assemble in minutes.
